The Red Beans soups with rice in it was delicious! And the okra was very well done. The collard greens tasted different but still remained delicious like the rest of the meal. The taste was a bit more on the sweet side. Which was odd, but still worked. I tried a bit of the Nola French Dip Po'Boy and that was delicious as well.The only thing I personally didn't like from my dish was the corn bread. Although, this was the only part of the dish that was a split opinion between myself and the other table guests. They found the corn bread to taste good instead.

It’s a nice restaurant. Would I ever return? No. A lot of items our over priced for what it is. . We ordered a cheeseburger & shrimp poboy. The cheeseburger wasn’t anything special and was way overpriced. The shrimp poboy was actually pretty good. It’s different from what I’m used to but it was good. Still a little over priced.
MoreThe menu is a little limited, but all of their offerings are good. I especially recommend the Company B chili. The bar is really what shines though. They have a great selection of drinks that really go with the theme of the Museum.
MoreExtremely convenient location inside the WWII museum. Comfortable seating, with lots of space so it doesn’t feel crowded at all. Staff was very friendly. We had the gumbo and company b chili beans, they both were delicious but warning the chili has a very strong kick to it! Also the large bowl was quite large, I couldn’t finish it and should have just had a cup. Wish it came with a biscuit instead of saltine crackers. Prices were very reasonable considering it’s right inside the museum. Bathrooms were very clean!
MoreIt was a treat to find this restaurant attached to the National World War ll Museum. We were expecting a food court but ended up with something much better. The service here was a little lacking, but everyone was friendly. They had lots of good, classic Louisiana food done well. Worth your time if you're at the museum and willing to pay 12-15 dollars a plate.
MoreThe hubby and I swung in before hitting the museum and started with cocktails (GI Punch and a miller lite). The beer was cold and the punch strong. Large glasses of water (bless my poor hungover heart). We started with roast beef fries (for us northern folk, poutine with chuck roast beef on it). Hubby got a chicken burrata which he plowed through and didnt say two words to me or offer a bite but said it was amazing. I had the shrimp po boy with a side of red beans and rice. The po boy was delicious, spicy, sadly no pickle but you could ask I'm sure. The red beans and rice weren't bad, but I didnt have anything to compare it t . Our waiter was attentive and so helpful. I would come here again next visit and take family.

We we're visiting local museums and stopped in for lunch. We sat at the bar. We we're rather impressed with the menu. Ordered Frito Pies and a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. Turned out to be the best lunch we had in New Orleans.

The food was great. The only thing that was iffy was the server. He took a while, put all our food out first and we had a small table. Not exactly sure if it was him or the cooks are just really good at getting food out...but its ideal to wait to put the order in until it looks like we've had maybe a few minutes to our starters. All and all food was great, museum was perfect, and the server was very polite!
MoreAbsolutely terrible place to eat. Took them 40 minutes to get good to me. People who came in after me got their food before I did. When I asked the bartender why he said "We are trying to take care of our bigger tickets first." Do not go there. The rest of the museum is awesome though.
MoreDespite half of the restaurant being empty, we were told to go "sit at the bar" which had no space. When we got back to the front, we saw other groups being offered seats at tables. When asked, the waitress told us the next table will be available in 1 hour and then proceeded to offer a group behind is a table. I just don't get what is wrong with some people. Avoid
MoreGood drinks. Food was just alright. My poyboy roast beef was very oily and could barely find the cheese and would not recommend. My husband had a burger that was ok. Again nothing to stop for. If in the area I’d try something else.

MoreFood and cocktails were satisfying, but service was lacking. The place was almost empty and two bartenders were on staff but our cocktails took 10 minutes to arrive (we were seated at the bar). Our bartender definitely more focused on her conversation with the other bartender than on our needs. We also witnessed one of the staff sitting while sweeping...not sure how effective that is. I wouldnt recommend stopping here, as there are many alternatives nearby.

The red, white, & blue burger was good, not great. It came with a side of mediocre fries. Nice, and quick staff, food was good but not wow good and not up to the par of the prices.
MoreWe went to AS for brunch, as we had reviewed their brunch menu and decided it would be a great choice. When we were seated they hadn’t given us a brunch menu. I asked them about it and they said on super busy weekends they are trying to help the kitchen staff out by decreasing menu options (makes sense). However, there are so many brunch places in the city that I was super disappointed and contemplating leaving. This is when I received some of the best customer service ever. Not only did they accommodate our brunch desires, but they basically let us decide what we wanted. The chef came over to greet us and discuss options. The manager, our waiter, and the chef were all so friendly, professional, and all-around excellent. And the best part, the food was insanely good! American Sector has some great things going and I’m so thrilled we chose it for brunch!
MoreAmbience was amazing. Execution was a little poor. Had the All American, while my friend had the Five Star. Burger took FOREVER to come out. We ordered immediately and waited probably 20 minutes to get two burnt to a crisp burgers, and some inconsistently cooked fries. If you arent going to fill the plate, put the food on a smaller plate so customers aren't underwhelmed. That being said, the sweetness of the whiskey jam and brioche bun perfectly offset the saltiness of the burgers and fries. I really liked the flavors in the burger despite how overcooked it was but everything else was pretty disappointing.
MoreExcellent food. Flavor Town, USA. Best gumbo I have ever had (although I am not a connoseur). Serving size (amount) was a little small, but flavor just popped! Quality, not quantity. The wife's spinach salad was a generous size serving and had excellent flavor. Super fresh, velvet soft spinach. Wait staff was excellent. Jay is a true professional and very helpful.

Our server may have been having a rough day as she was not particularly interested to be helping us. My daughter ordered a po boy with chips ($14) and I had the gumbo of the day ($12). Both were good but perhaps a little overpriced for what they were.The hostess was incredibly nice and made sure greet us and then compliment my infant daughter as we left, so she certainly left a good impression on us.
MoreNice little sit down restaurant in the WWII museum, the theme is 1930's and 1940's. Food is good, drinks are unique. Staff are all friendly. Everything is clean and well lit. I have been here on several occasions and have enjoyed everything thoroughly.

My traveling companion really wanted to fully explore the WWII Museum so we purchased the two day tickets (excellent value, by the way). That meant I was privileged with two days of meals at the WWII restaurant. The WWII Museum restaurant features an excellent chef and a stellar food-service / wait staff team. This restaurant served the best oyster po-boy I have ever tasted (and I spent my high school years in south Louisiana). Brunch menu looked too good to choose from, so I asked for a recommendation from the server. Hopefully no one has video of me making silly yummy noises while eating the most amazing Crawfish Benedict. My mouth waters even now remembering the taste. Pavlov’s dogs had nothing on me, LOL. If you go to NOLA, experience the restaurant at the National WWII Museum. It might even inspire you to visit the museum….
MoreClean Well Prepared and TastyI was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked American Sector. I was hesitant to even suggest it, as I won't patronize any John Besh affiliate. But as of July 2019, that relationship ended. Obviously the restaurant was well attended by the many tourists visiting the museum. But as a resident of New Orleans, I actually recommended to my out of town visitor to meet here for lunch. I ordered the gumbo and oyster po'boy..and both were well above average. The oysters were crisply fried in corn meal, and very generous in the amount. It was a lot more like a delicious bahn mi!And service was excellent. While the Museum may be the reason why the restaurant was full...I'll bet more of us locals will make this a regular go to....plus!!! Prices were very reasonable..maybe even better than other more ambitious restaurants in the area.
MoreTotally agree with Andy. They cooked my burger to death (the red, white & blue) and forget the blue cheese. It was returned to the kitchen and came back with cold blue cheese on it. Both of our orders came out very quickly but I felt my beef patty was leftover from yesterday. The fries, ice tea and service were great.
MoreFrom appearances this is a lovely restaurant, but our meal was a disappointment. Our server wasn't overly communicative in her answers to our questions about several items on the menu. And service was extremely slow. 20 minutes to get our entrees. 20 more minutes to get desert. And 15 more to get the check. Never saw sweet tea or ice water refills. The pulled pork nachos were ok, good size pieces of meat, but not a hit. Roma Crunch wedge had a nice presentation and was very good. Bread pudding was OK while the Creme Brulee was very nice.

MoreGood place to stop when visiting the museum. Centrally located and good food. Had a salad and added black chicken, was nicely seasoned. Hubby had the wings with fries and enjoyed his meal. The staff was friendly enough and attentive.
MoreA bit of a mixed review.The restaurant was lovely and the service was great, both the server and the manager that stopped by the table. The food was decently priced and tasted great, too. But. It did take us almost 45 minutes to get our food. And I did not actually get what I ordered, but ate it anyway because I was starving and did not want to wait any longer.
MoreOn a scale of burnt 1-10 mine was a 3. 0 is ideal. 1 acceptable. Was in hurry and had to eat dozen fries to get taste of burnt hamburger out of mouth. Told waitress to let them know cook need more training when paying and she just giggled at me. I give it 4 stars because she seemed happy, others might give this place a zero.

After 6 hours of visiting exhibits we needed a break and this place hit the spot. Shrimp and grits were some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be back. This is a very busy place so plan on 10-20 minute wait. Its worth it.

MoreMy husband I were visiting the WWII museum and between our attractions, we had about 40 mins to grab a bite. We each got a few beers and 2 apps, since we didn't have too much time. We split the gumbo and the spinach dip, and both were really delicious! The gumbo wasn't too spicy and had really good flavor. The atmosphere was great and servers attentive. Food came fast, which we appreciated, and tasted great. I know they also do a brunch there, so maybe next time we will check that out. We would def recommend if you are touring the museum or just wanting a tasty meal!

Two words: bottomless mimosas. They are the best in town for Sunday Brunch! I love that they closed in the courtyard area, that part of the dining room has a lovely ambiance to it. The crawfish benedict and debris fries were both delicious!

Worst experience I’ve had in years. There was literally about 25 open tables and they had a 30-45 minutes wait time and they have no idea what they are doing. Too bad ruined the whole museum experience with there lack of customer service or knowledge on how to run a restaurant Managers should be fired.....

MoreStopped by for a late lunch around 2pm, it was somewhat busy but not packed. Ordered 2 burgers, the 5 Star and the All American.It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive. A $15 burger that takes 30 minutes to prepare should be fantastic, this was not the case. The patties and bacon were overcooked and on the edge of burnt, the fries were greasy and soggy, and the portions were small. The only redeeming quality was the Whisky Jam used in the All American burger, it made the dry Patty palatable.Extremely disappointed. Consider not overcooking your patties, the burger would taste better and the wait time wouldn't be so long.
MoreMy two biggest wants in a restaurant are food quality and service quality and in both cases the restaurant performed admirably. Serving size was not large, but adequate. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and highly recommend staying on-site during your visit to the WW II museum.
MoreIt is right outside the WW2 museum. We started with the spinach artichoke dip. I had the seafood poboy and my fiance had the nachos. Overall pretty good place to rest before heading back to the museum. The food was pretty good and so was the service.
MoreVisited the museum with other active duty members today. Went to get a bite before the movie and we were told it would be 20-30 minute wait. The restaurant was barley occupied by 1/3 and several seats were open. We were told many were ahead of us, about 8 people waiting. We went to sit at the bar and were told we needed to wait and put our names down. Never have I needed a reservation at an open seat at a bar. Very rude hostess...
MoreFirst the staff was so friendly, helpful and patient. We were a group of 8 and they gave us outstanding service. The atmosphere is cool and fun. We sat in the area at the large windows overlooking the street. Windows were open and I was worried about street noise but that was not a problem and we enjoyed the area. The food was great. I had the Victory Garden Salad and it was one of the best salads I have tried. My husband had the Frito Pie and he said it was delicious. Prices were reasonable. This is a definite stop in New Orleans.
